The Phantom of the Opera

The Phantom of the Opera is one of my favourite theatre shows. Here I have drawn the Phantom when he appears at the ball. I cant find the book now but here is a sample I found while googling of the Phanton in his costume.

Mary
August 1998About:
I came across an illustration my grand father did almost 20 years ago of the statue of Mary. Looking at it the way he had realised the shadows of the veil and face structure I wanted to see if I could do something similar. So I grabbed all my grahic pencils and began to draw. The piece took me about 4 hours or so to complete. Hope you like the result anyway.

This was something I did at college years ago and found recently on one of my old zip drives. It was created using a selection of inks on canvas then after scanning in I added a bit of typography to it.
